Fundraising Tips

Our researchers and clinician-scientists remain dedicated to continuing the quest to conquer all cancers.

Personalize your participant page

We encourage you to personalize your participation page to help inspire your donors. You can personalize your page by adding a photo, sharing why you’re participating in Wilmot Warrior Weekend, and setting a goal for your participation or your team. If you’re challenging yourself to reach one of the Wilmot Warrior Incentive Levels, include that information as well.

Don’t be afraid to ask for donations

Cancer affects all of us: 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetimes. You never know who may have had an experience with cancer that could lead them to want to give back. Consider asking for donations from friends, family members, current and former colleagues and classmates, your professional network, and your social network.

Set a goal

Set a goal for yourself: Consider striving for one of our incentive levels.
Set a goal for your team: Challenge your teammates to fundraise.
