I have been riding bikes for a very long time, and haven't done a fundraising ride in a while. I'm excited to get the wheels on the road to kick cancer's butt!
This is more than just getting on the bike. In 2015 my father was diagnosed with brain cancer. At the age of 84 he made the decision to go home and enjoy the short time he had left surrounded by his family. Those 6 weeks were among the hardest, most emotional, and most draining I have ever experienced, but I wouldn't part with a single second. This one's for you Dad!
I am proud to participate in the Wilmot Warrior Weekend on September 21st & 22nd, 2024 in Rochester, NY. Wilmot Warrior Weekend is more than just a first-class cycling, walk, and running event – it’s a celebration and movement fueled to create new life saving treatments and cures for cancer patients in New York and around the world.
All fundraising will advance world class cancer research and survivorship programs at the Wilmot Cancer Institute and the University of Rochester. Please consider supporting my efforts by donating to my fundraiser and let’s leave cancer in the dust.
