Welcome to my page!
I am proud to join the fight against cancer again this year. Each year, thousands are diagnosed with cancer.
As you may know, in 2013 I was diagnosed with Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Cancer. I had was treated at the Wilmot Cancer Center, had surgery that removed my tumors. The care at Wilmot has been terrific, with great support and follow up.
What you may not know is that during the pandemic year of 2020, my cancer returned. This time it has shown up in lymph nodes near my collar bone and esophagus. The good news is that I am being treated with a monthly injection, and the cancer is not spreading nor growing in the past 13 months.
I am thankful for any support you can provide. Because I fell while running in June, and broke my arm, I might be walking this year. I'm kind of a klutz.
I'm feeling great, and I am doing great. In part because of the great work and people at UR Wilmot Cancer Center. Let's support them. My cancer is back, and for now is in control. More research into cancer prevention and finding cures is needed.
Thank you for any support you can provide.
