Amanda's Purple Minions will be participating in the Stroll for Strong 2024!
After weeks of being sick and numerous doctors’ appointments, our sweet daughter, Amanda Conrow, was diagnosed with a brain tumor in October of 2012. Our lives were shaken as she endured brain surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. We thought the worst was behind us when we received the devastating news that her tumors had returned...too many to count...throughout her brain and spine.
Amanda went through another year and a half of treatment before succumbing to her cancer in February of 2015.
We are so grateful for the care Amanda received at Golisano Children's Hospital. Her Doctor, Dr. Korones, was the best. With four other children to care for, we are thankful that all of Amanda's care was right here in Rochester. Thank you to the amazing staff at GCH for everything you do for kids and families each day.
