In late November of 2022, while sitting in the Golisano Pediatric Emergency Room, we were hit with the devastating news that our 6 year old son Finn had a golf ball size tumor in his brain. From the team of 3 doctors that took me aside to give the news, to the Child Life Specialist keeping Finn laughing in the other room so that the news could be shared with family, we felt the swell of support from the hospital stepping in to keep us from falling. From that moment, the team of consummate professionals at GCH met every need that came from such a sudden and crushing diagnosis and the subsequent procedures and hospitalization. 

We will be forever grateful to Golisano Children's Hospital and all of the staff that has made Finn's story such a positive one. While his journey is far from over, we are walking to give back to GCH and to show just how far our sweet boy has come thanks to their care.

The annual Stroll for Strong Kids Walk and 5K Run will be held on June 1, 2024, where Golisano Children's Hospital supporters will enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere full of activities.
