Our Miracle Miles is one of the countless amazing miracles to come out of Golisano Children’s Hospital. 

After a spontaneous labor at 26 weeks leading to rushing to the hospital, by 9am on the morning of September 26th 2022 miles was born at just 2 pounds 1 ounce. After a very traumatic early emergency c section he was rushed to the nicu where he would spend 126 days fighting for his life. 

Starting out in the pink neighborhood of the tower he was on a ventilator for almost 2 months, battled countless infections and was named “the most fiesty boy in the nicu” . Miles did things his way and in his time like most preemies do! After 126 he finally was able to come home with mom and dad and that was quite the day. It was God’s miraculous journey with miles and the wisdom/commitment of the doctors, nurses and staff of Golisano that made that possible and we are forever grateful. To experience the life saving work and connect with incredible servant leaders in our community has been a privilege and we hope to continue to sow that positivity and servant leadership into our community and pay it forward for the gratitude we feel daily!
