Super Remi was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) when she was 18 months old in the summer of 2022.  From the moment she started growing in her mama’s belly she has brought sunshine to all around her, and throughout her treatment her light has continued to shine bright.  Her 2+ years of cancer treatment has consisted of a lot of chemotherapy, hospital stays, clinic visits, pokes, upset tummy, uncertainty, compromised immunity, procedures, and all around feeling yucky.  It has also consisted of a whole lot of family time, snuggles, welcoming her beloved baby brother, thriving in and out of the hospital walls, SO much love, and experiencing the best most supportive care from her Pediatric Oncology team and Golisano Childrens Hospital.  We are so grateful for her care team, GCH and our incredible community and credit them for how well she and our family have done through this cancer journey.  We can’t wait to ring the bell in November 2024!
