8 years ago, Ella was diagnosed with a brain tumor while we were on vacation in Florida. That day changed our lives forever. While we began initial treatment in Florida due to the urgency of Ella's health, we were able to transfer her to Golisano Children's hospital to complete her treatment. Along her road to recovery, we have had the privilege of having the best nurses, doctors, and staff work with Ella and our family. Ella's road to recovery has been long, but she is such a strong girl. We are so thankful that over these 8 years she has had the best medical team at Strong to keep her healthy and progressing. To see her overcome all of the challenges and obstacles she has faced amazes us daily. We are forever grateful to Golisano Children's Hospital for taking such good care of Ella and our family over all of these years. If you donate, please select 7 North. Participating in the Stroll each year is our small way to give back and say thank you for getting us to where we are today! 

This year, we will be walking virtually again at our house. We would love for anyone to join us - food, drinks, dessert, and a beautiful walk through our trails will be provided. We will also be doing the 27 miles in May Challenge if anyone is up to do that with us! We thank you all for your continued support!! 

The annual Stroll for Strong Kids Walk and 5K Run will be held on June 4, 2023 where Golisano Children's Hospital supporters will enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere full of activities.
