It started on October 10th when Mia's mom was Diagnosed with Preclamsia. Mia was able to stay in her mommies tummy till she was 33 weeks. Mias mom body started shutting down and it was no longer safe for Mia to be in her mommies tummy. When Mia was born on November 9th she was 3 pounds 9oz. An was rushed to the nicu. After only a few days in the tower the staff thought she was ready to be moved to the step down nicu! There she stayed for 2 weeks so she could learn how to eat with out a feeding tube and get here body temperature to stay stable. Are little rockstar amazed all the doctors and nurses in what she was able to do. When it was time do go home Mia doctor said she has never send a baby home this small! Mia was sent home at 3Ibs 15oz. I truly believe with out all the amazing nurse's and doctors Mia would habe been in the nciu for so much longer! Are Rockstar and amazed as all everyday! Today Mia is 4 months and is 14 pounds and has hit all of her milestones right on time!
