To say that I never dreamed I would be writing that we are at $17,585 and in second place for teams is an understatement!  The generosity and support you have shown Wilmot, our family and everyone we know and love who has been touched by cancer is absolutely astounding!   THANK YOU to all the volunteers, donaters, attendees, family, friends, friends of friends, anyone who had a hand in this.  You are truly amazing and we are grateful for each and every one of you.   Please follow us on IG team_marty_2023 and on FB Cyndi Gresco Lembo to see all the amazing pictures from the happy hour and walk.   Can't wait for the second annual, it will be  hard to top it but I have a feeling we will.  Love, Cyndi, Bryan, Toni, Meli, Jared and Charlie

WOW we are over 100 people signed up for happy hour and  over $11,000 in donations. It overwhelms me the support and love our village has shown us. Right now, we are accepting donations for Wilmot and putting you on a wait list for happy hour. We have to cap our numbers as our venue won't hold more than 100. Marty Lembo was diagnosed with stage four liver cancer in March 2016.  For over two years Marty bravely fought this awful disease with the support of the Wilmot Cancer teams of Dr. Richard Dunne, Dr. Fergal Fleming and Dr. Roberto Hernandez-Alejandro and the strong love and compassion of our family and friends. On May 29th, 2018 Marty’s body could no longer fight but his love of life and laughter lives on in all who knew him.

For the past five years Team Marty has participated in the annual Wilmot Warrior walk, raising funds for research to continue to find new treatment methods for those who must face this horrific disease in years to come.   

The Wilmot Warrior Walk will take place Sunday, October 1, 2023  8am -1 pm at Genesee Valley Park.   Team Marty will proudly be kicking off the weekend with our first ever Team Marty Happy Hour Fundraiser.

 We have an exciting evening planned that will bring together the community that has continued to support our family over the past 7+ years and raise money for a cause near and dear to our hearts. A ticket to the event includes a three hour open bar, delicious food, a variety of raffle baskets (one ticket will be provided with your entrance donation, more tickets available to purchase at the event), and three enthusiastic guest bartending teams competing for the highest tips. The event is 100% unwritten and all ticket donations, raffle ticket entries and bartending tips go directly to Wilmot Cancer Center. Suggested ticket donation is $50 per person, but any amount is graciously accepted.

To register for happy hour or to donate without attending, click on the donate button and in the personal note box indicate if you are attending the happy hour.  

If you are attending the walk you will need to click on the join  the team button and register for the walk.   The cost is 35.00 per person for registration fee.
