Joshua and I will be walking at the Wilmot Warrior Weekend to fundraise for others who have gone through cancer like us. In March of 2022, I was diagnosed with advanced stage Hodgkin's Lymphoma. After an extremely rough road, I am still alive and cancer free because of the care I received from Wilmot. Joshua was diagnosed with Basal Cell Carcinoma in 2020 and after it being incorrectly resolved at the VA, was referred to U of R for treatment. In January 2023, the dermatology team was able to preform MOHS surgery on his face and nose and successfully remove all of his cancer. We could not have done any of this without the dedicated teams that make up University of Rochester and the Wilmot Cancer Center.
Please consider donating and joining us on October 1st to walk for those who no longer can, and to raise money for research to help those who are still fighting. I hope we can see a cancer free world in our lifetime.
