Cancer effects too many of us these days. My Mother, "Nana" Mary Rose Bianchi, was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer and fought a tremendous battle never giving up. Her faith in God along with support from her husband (Ronald) of 50 loving years and support from her three children (Debbie, Julie & Steven), gave her courage to undergo chemo treatments, scans, stent procedures, new medications and numerous hours of doctor appointments. If you met Mary Rose on the street you would not even know what she was battling, for she was always asking how others were and helping them with their own battles. Mary Rose has helped so many in need, this is why we are walking in her honor, to help all f these battling this nasty disease. I pray there will be a cure one day, and in the meantime I would like all her family and friends spread the word that cancer will defeat you...it will only make you stronger and fight harder!
Each year, thousands are diagnosed with cancer. I am proud to participate in the Wilmot Warrior Walk this year to help support cancer research and care in honor of my mother Mary Rose Bianchi.
Proceeds from the event benefit cancer research and the Judy DiMarzo Cancer Survivorship Program at Wilmot Cancer Institute. Show your support by joining me at the Wilmot Warrior Walk or giving a donation today!
