Dear Team Olney Wilmot Warrior Weekend Walkers. (April 13, 2023)

Each year, thousands of people are diagnosed with cancer. It’s time to once again bring the community together to make a difference for those cancer impacts. Proceeds from funds raised by Team Olney will fund leukemia cancer research efforts led by Dr. Calvi at the Wilmot Cancer Institute. We have raised and donated over $300,000 over the past 6 years to support this research. Our team goal is to raise another $10,000 for this year's walk. The money raised by Team Olney is leveraged with grants, designated funding by the National Cancer Institute, and other like donations. Approximately $15 in funding is secured for every dollar raised by Team Olney. A 15X leverage!!!

Team Olney has been the top Fundraising team for the past 5 years. This year I have challenged other teams to beat our fundraising efforts. Please help us continue to be the top fundraising team.

Team Olney will dedicate this year's walk to my Late wife Beverly, the ultimate caregiver, and all cancer survivor's, caregivers, and loved ones who have passed away due to cancer. Please show your love for these individuals by participating in the Inaugural Wilmot Warrior Weekend.
