The annual Stroll for Strong Kids Walk and 5K Run will be on June 1st where Golisano Children’s Hospital supporters will run a 5K and/or take a stroll, and enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere full of activities.

All three of our kids were blessed by the most incredible care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Golisano. Because of my blood disorder, Immune Thrombocytopenia Purpura, they were all born with a VERY low platelet count. Imagine having a baby born covered in bruises and little red dots! It was a heart breaking experience for me, but the nurses and doctors took the most icredible care of our babies and even me. We have vowed to spend the rest of our lives doing everything we can to give back to the hospital that supported us so well during one of the most stressful yet joyful seasons of our life.
