Welcome to My Fundraising Page for the Lawniczak Triplets!

Team Lawniczak Triplets is so excited to participate in the annual Stroll for Strong Kids Walk and 5K Run, which will be held on Sunday, June 4th, 2023 at Genesee Valley Park in Rochester, New York. This event benefits Golisano Children's Hospital, for which we have big love! Team members will enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere full of activities (see below for more details). This will be our first time participating in the Stroll, and we cannot wait!
The NICU that so wonderfully cared for Micah, Rebecca, and Emma is part of GCH. Our family owes them so much, and we are eager to support the hospital while enjoying the Stroll with the triplets’ many fans. Many staff members from the NICU will be at the walk; please join us to thank them in person!
Micah, Rebecca, and Emma were born 15 weeks early via an emergency c-section at 25 weeks and 3 days gestational age, earning them the classification of micro-preemies. Micah weighed one pound, twelve ounces, Rebecca weighed one pound, ten ounces, and Emma weighed just 14.1 ounces. Our miracle rainbow babies were immediately cared for by the incredibly talented NICU staff. Our babies received world-class care as they fought through many challenges related to their prematurity. We witnessed awe-inspiring skill and competency in the many professionals who took care of our children. The level of compassion and kindness that exuded from everyone contributed to an environment in which our family felt respected, empowered, and loved.
Our darling Emma Cherise was not expected to survive delivery. Instead, she came out waving, determined to shine her light in this world. She defied all the odds and inspired many impressive life-saving collaborations. Emma was loved and fought so hard to stay with our family. We were blessed to have 73 beautiful days with our “Baby C”, our sweet Emma. Memories and pictures of Emma will be shared at the walk, so please stop by to celebrate her beauty. Micah and Rebecca are now home after 121 and 125 days in the NICU respectively. Though they miss their treasured sister, they are both growing and thriving, and we are so amazed by them. We are immensely grateful for the amazing care they received, and will be forever grateful to the NICU for all they did the our beloved triplets.

Registration for the 5k will begin at 7:15 a.m.
Registration for the Stroll will begin at 8 a.m.
Kids activities will begin at 9 a.m
The Stroll for Strong Kids is a fun-filled event that benefits thousands of children in our community by directly supporting Golisano Children’s Hospital at the University of Rochester Medical Center. In addition to costumed characters greeting families during the walk, there will be bounce houses, carnival games and other entertainment for kids. Lunch is provided for all participants following the stroll as well as frozen custard from our presenting sponsor, Abbott’s.
