Nataly was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on 4/19/16 at the age of 22 months. She spent 19 days inpatient at Golisano Children's hospital on 7N. While there she received chemo therapy through a PICC line and through lumbar puncture. She was on steroids. Had a bone marrow biopsy. Labs every single day. She eventually had her port put in and received her chemo outpatient clinic, oral chemo at home and monthly steroid pulses. She was again admitted in October 2017 for neutropenia for 11 days. She has been in remission since day 29 after diagnosis and has thankfully remained there. She is still followed by Hem/Onc at Golisano every three months to be sure the leukemia does not return. Please help us support our wonderful Golisano Children's hospital. We are so blessed to have them in our community. You never know if one of your loved ones will need their care someday, I certainly never thought we would.
The annual Stroll for Strong Kids Walk and 5K Run will be held on June 4, 2022, where Golisano Children's Hospital supporters will enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere full of activities.
