We're SO excited to be back at the Stroll for Strong Kids walk this year. This event has always been special to us, but it means even more now that we can share it with both of our little girls.
As you may know, Emery was born prematurely in 2020 due to complications from a placenta abruption. We're so grateful for the incredible care she received at Golisano Children's Hospital both for their prevention of labor and her week spent in the NICU. The doctors, nurses, and staff went above and beyond for Emery and us, offering support and resources that made a tremendous difference during a difficult time. Many of those resources were made possible by donations like the ones we're hoping to raise now. Your support of events like the Stroll for Strong Kids helps ensure these resources are available to families who go through difficult circumstances like we did.
We're excited to walk again in honor of my nephews, Zachary and Shane, and to raise awareness for MCAD (Medium-chain acyl-CoA dehydrogenase deficiency), the genetic disorder they live with. Look for us in our bright green team shirts!
The Stroll for Strong Kids Walk and 5K Run will be held on June 1st and is a wonderful family event if you choose to join us! If you can't make it, please consider donating to our team by clicking the Donate Now button.
