My family and I are proud to participate in the Wilmot Warrior 5k on October 1st, 2023 in honor of my mom (and my kids' beloved Nana), Marianne Eisenhardt. My mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in April of 2022. After undergoing the whipple surgery immediately after diagnosis mom began treatment at Wilmot Cancer Center at the University of Rochester. She began with a 3 dose chemo regimen in July of 2022 and recently made the decision to change her treatment to an immunotherapy clinical trial offered through Wilmot. 

The amazing care that she receives from Wilmot has always focused on whole person treatment, providing new and innovative treatment approaches that focus on stopping the spread of cancer and allowing her to live her best life. We are so grateful for the care she receives here and hope that this event will help to fund additional advances in cancer research for her and others.
