2020 Stroll for Strong Kids

Teddy's Tribe

It's that time of year again! The annual Stroll for Strong Kids Walk and 5K Run will be held at Genesee Valley Park on May 30th where Golisano Children’s Hospital supporters will enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere full of activities.

We would love for you to join our team, Teddy's Tribe, and to help us reach our goal of $5,000.00! All of our funds will go directly to the GCH NICU and help other babies like our Teddy. As many of you know, Teddy was born 15 weeks prematurely and spent 127 days in the NICU at GCH. He is a now thriving and about to travel to see his favorite person in the world, Minnie Mouse, for his 3rd birthday! We owe our entire hearts to GCH NICU. Without them, our outcome might have been much different.

Each year, 86,000 children are treated at GCH. It is because of our community that children and families receive state of the art care and support. GCH has our entire heart and we will continue to support them in any way we can so that other children and their families can continue to receive the highest quality family and patient centered care.

When donating please include NICU or NICU nursing team so that we ensure all donations go directly to NICU. Your contributions will help purchase anything from crib mobiles to the new state of the art Angel Cameras so that families who cannot be with their newborns all the time can still see their baby. Every cent donated makes a huge difference in the lives of these most vulnerable babies and their families!

If you would like to purchase a shirt for the stroll event, please click on the link below and order by May 10th!

I will be running the 5K and walking afterwards. We will have a central meeting point for both the run and the walk. Location TBD!

Your participation and support means more than you know! We thank you from the bottom of hearts!
